Some people have experienced an issue when updating their profile.

ISSUE: Unable to edit profile when using the New Frontend.
CURRENT WORKAROUND: Switch to Classic Frontend and update your profile.
RESOLUTION STATUS: Reported

Explanatory Notes:

The issue is experienced as follows:
Login and make sure you are using the New Frontend.
Click on Edit Profile
Make a change to your profile and click "Save"
You will notice that nothing happens and the information entered is not saved when you navigate away from page.

Please follow these steps for an immediate workaround.
Login and make sure you are using the Classic Frontend (You will find option to switch Frontend from the Dashboard).
Click on Update Profile
Make the changes and click "Save"
You will notice that the information will be correctly saved and the profile will be updated.
